Tesla Roadster 2020

The Tesla Roadster is an all-electric battery-powered four seater sports car from Tesla, Inc. It was announced in November 2017 that it would be the fastest accelerating production car ever made.

Elon Musk stated that the Roadster would be the quickest vehicle in the Tesla lineup, with a new acceleration mode called "Maximum Plaid", beyond the previously released Insane Mode and Ludicrous Mode acceleration modes found in the performance model versions of the Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X.

The 2020-era Roadster was designed by Franz Von Holzhausen. Tesla Motors previously produced the 2008 Roadster, as their first sports car.

The base model was expected to sell for US $200,000 but the first 1,000 to be produced, the so-called Founder's Series, will be priced at $250,000.
