A Great Loose for Apple

Qualcomm's claim is that Apple has breached the agreement to provide an additional advantage to the company's competing chip maker Intel Corporation for the creation of broadband modems, the Reuters report said.

Qualcomm filed a lawsuit in San Diego, California on Wednesday. It is said in the case that Apple has demanded the secret software of the chip maker's company, including its source code, to achieve its commercial purpose.

Apple has not agreed to comment on the case. The US technology giant has started using Intel broadband modem chips from the iPhone 7.

Some of Apple's engineers are working with Qualcomm, while others are working to create Intel chips. In the case, Qualcomm said that according to their agreement, Apple will have to ensure that these two engineers will not be able to contact details to the Qualcomm chip.

The company further claims that in an email in July this year, Apple urged Qualcomm to ask for "the most secret information on how their chips work on unfamiliar wireless networks". Qualcomm claims to have duplicated an Intel engineer in email for information.

It is also said that an Apple engineer has been asked to work with Qualcomm to find out technical information from Qualcomm. The engineer is working to create a Qualcomm chip.

Earlier this week, a Reuters report said Apple could drop Qualcomm chips from iPhone and iPad next year.It will be great lose for Apple.
